Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Gage) was only a teenaged stunt biker. He made a huge mistake when he made a contract with Devil (Peter Fonda). His father is very sick of canser and is dying. The Devil however killed his father allthougt the contract is there.
Life of Johnny Blaze changed that day. On the night he becomes the Ghost Rider of Marvel Comics legend. The devil’s bounty hunter he is charged with finding evil souls on earth and bringing them to hell. But when a twist of fate brings Johnny s long-lost love (Eva Mendes) back into his life Johnny realizes he just might have a second chance at happiness if he can beat the devil and win back his soul.

To do so he ll have to defeat Blackheart (Wes Bentley) the devil s nemesis and wayward son whose plot to take over his father s realm will bring hell on earth unless Ghost Rider can stop him.
The first supernatural Ghost Rider is stunt motorcyclist Johnny Blaze, who, in order to save the life of his mentor, agreed to give his soul to “Satan” (later revealed to be an arch-demon named Mephisto). Instead, his soul bonded with the entity called Zarathos.

The subsequent Ghost Rider series (1990-98) featured Danny Ketch as a new Ghost Rider. After his sister was injured by ninja gangsters, Ketch came in contact with a motorcycle which had somehow been mystically enchanted to contain the essence of a “Spirit of Vengeance.” This spirit was once said to have originally been a Puritan man named Noble Kale, an ancestor of both Blaze and Ketch. However, this claim was later disputed.

When utilizing Zarathos’ powers Blaze’s flesh is consumed by hellfire, causing his head to become a flaming skull. He rides a fiery motorcycle and wields trademark blasts of hellfire from his skeletal hands. He starred in the series from 1973-1983.

Nicolas Cage attempts to provide some originality to his characterization of the fiery comic book character.
Johnny Blaze reappeared in this 1990s series as a supporting character, and was revealed to be Ketch’s brother. In mid-2000s comics, Blaze again became the Ghost Rider, succeeding Ketch.
